Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Price Truth, provided by Showcase Solutions Apps. By using Price Truth, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Price Truth service
Price Truth provides informational tools that may analyze service quotes, estimate project costs, identify potential red flags, offer negotiation ideas, save results, and compare provider information. Features may change over time.
Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You may not use another person's account.
Price Truth Plus subscription
Price Truth Plus removes banner and full-screen ads for $1.99 per month, or the localized price shown by Apple before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting your Price Truth account or app does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Estimates are informational
Price Truth does not provide professional, financial, legal, engineering, construction, insurance, or contractor advice. Results and price ranges are estimates based on the information available and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Actual pricing varies by location, timing, scope, materials, labor, permits, taxes, urgency, provider, and conditions that Price Truth cannot inspect.
Do not rely on Price Truth as a guarantee of price, quality, safety, licensing, or provider performance. Obtain multiple written quotes, confirm the complete scope, and independently verify licensing, insurance, references, permits, warranties, and contract terms before hiring or paying a provider.
Advertising and third parties
Price Truth may display third-party advertising. An ad does not mean we endorse, verify, or recommend the advertiser or its products or services. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Price Truth, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy the service at scale, submit unlawful or harmful content, impersonate others, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
Your content
You retain rights in information you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, analyze, and display that information to operate Price Truth. Do not submit information you do not have the right to use.
Intellectual property
Price Truth, its branding, software, design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service as intended.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Price Truth is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Showcase Solutions Apps and its owners, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from a purchasing, hiring, contracting, repair, or payment decision made using Price Truth.
Suspension, termination, and changes
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or others, or when these Terms are violated. We may update these Terms, and the effective date above will identify the latest version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Showcase Solutions Apps is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
