This Privacy Policy explains how Showcase Solutions Apps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Price Truth, including its iOS app and this website. Price Truth helps users analyze service quotes, estimate project costs, save results, and compare providers.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, authentication information, and a display name you choose to provide.
Quote and project information
We process details you submit, such as service category, quoted or estimated price, ZIP code, project details, provider notes, ratings, comparison information, and saved results.
Technical and usage information
Our service providers may receive device type, operating system, app version, approximate region derived from network information, diagnostics, interactions, advertising identifiers where permitted, and consent choices. We do not ask for precise location access.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and any details you choose to share.
How we use information
- Provide account access and keep each user's saved content associated with that account.
- Analyze quotes, produce estimates, identify potential pricing concerns, and support quote comparisons.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Price Truth.
- Respond to support requests and important service communications.
- Display advertising and measure ad performance as allowed by your consent choices and applicable law.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect users, the service, and our rights.
Service providers
We use vendors to operate Price Truth. These currently include Base44 for application infrastructure and account services, Google AdMob for advertising, consent management, and related measurement, and RevenueCat for subscription entitlement and purchase-status management. Apple processes App Store purchases and payment details. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Advertising and consent
Price Truth is free and may display ads through Google AdMob. The app requests advertising consent choices where required. We configure the banner for non-personalized ads by default and provide an in-app Ad Privacy Choices option when Google makes that option available. Ad providers may still use limited device, contextual, fraud-prevention, and measurement information.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Price Truth is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Your choices
You may update your display name within the app, use the in-app privacy controls for advertising choices when available, and manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Price Truth, our providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
